Email Fraudster

Have you ever received weird emails that make you curious? Be careful, it is called hoax emails may be harmful.

Starting from a chain email asking for donations for starving children in Uganda, until an email that contains the person who successfully breed bonsai kittens in bottles. These emails do not just successfully fulfill our inboxes, but also sometimes hurt us. Here's some signs of hoax email:

1. Command or an invitation to spread the email.
Hoax email makers want to spread false emails as much as possible. So, there must be a sentence that tells us to forward the email. There are many ways in which, for example, such a direct manner, "Send this email to everyone in your address book." Or a more focused way such as, "Please send this email to 20 people that you care about, then you will have good luck throughout the year. "

2. No reliable information sources.
Another thing that indicates an email hoax is not a reliable source of information that we can track the contents of the email. For example, an email hoax about donations for children in Africa. If you do not have clear information about the organization which organized the program, and which sites we can visit to find out about this organization, means we must slightly suspicious tuh. Almost the same as making a paper in school, right? If you do not have a listed reference, means the information is less reliable.

3. Style hyperbole.
Hyperbole, or style of language that always impressed lebay, could be the characteristics of an email hoax. Usually, make sure to attract attention, the writer will use excessive language. Psstt ... writing in capital letters also include the hyperbolic writing style! For example, "URGENT!" Or "Send now or you will get bad luck for 7 years."

4. Against the Fraudster
Well, u lo avoid fooled by deceptive emails, we should begin by filtering the contents of your inbox. Place the filter in the email, and direct all email hoaxes enter into the category of spam. Then, do not also give personal information over the Internet.

And, if we already know the email that we receive is an email hoax, we continue to do then? Hmm ... Actually we have two choices. First, we can stand by and stop the chain. That is, we are not forwarding the email to another person. Second, we are not forwarding email, and reply the email to the sender. But, should we send replies to polite and have a good reason, yes! If not, we might also think sending an email hoax, again.
